  • The ISOSM U-P-O Series Analog Voltage Signal Isolation Amplifiers are high-precision voltage-sampling devices implemented as mixed-signal ICs with capacitive-coupled isolation. These amplifiers employ a novel modulation–demodulation capacitive isolation technique, in which signals are transmitted across the capacitive isolation barrier in digital form. By combining digital modulation with capacitive-coupled isolation, signal integrity is maintained, while the digital signal across the capacitive barrier provides excellent reliability and superior high-frequency transient immunity.

The ISOSM U-P-O Series Analog Voltage Signal Isolation Amplifiers are high-precision voltage-sampling devices implemented as mixed-signal ICs with capacitive-coupled isolation. The ISOSM U-P-O features a compact SMD 6-pin flame-retardant package. The module requires only independent single-supply power at its input and output terminals to perform isolated amplification and transmission of analog voltage signals between input and output.

 

The ISOSM U-P-O is simple and easy to use, featuring selectable gain configuration and requiring no external components for operation. The module supports an ultra-wide single-channel DC supply voltage from 3.3 V to 24 V, providing high-precision and linear isolated amplification and transmission of analog signals across the full input range, with a maximum nonlinearity of 0.2% and a small-signal bandwidth of 30 kHz (-3 dB). The product is available in both SMD IC packages and DIN35 standard rail-mount versions, capable of operating reliably in industrial environments with humidity, vibration, and a wide temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C. It is widely used in applications such as rail voltage monitoring, safe operation monitoring of generators or motors, remote power transmission and distribution monitoring, instrumentation and sensor signal interfacing, medical device isolation barriers, industrial robot automation control, DC charging stations, server power supply units (PSUs), as well as chemical and nuclear power equipment.
